Things Are Changing With Our Office Pool

First of all, our pool did not hit the Super Lotto Plus on Wednesday September 5, 2012. We had some numbers here and there but now it is a new day.

On that note, I found out that a few of our co workers are leaving the job. Very good for them because they have a better paying job. But our lottery pool will suffer. In our pool there are 5 of us. Now we are down to me.

So, when we got word that our co workers are quitting, the other guys in our lottery pool decided not to play anymore. Okay, I thought, I will have to take on the challenge.

Tonight i will be playing our last game as a pool. After this it will only be me. Of course my budget will have to change which is okay but no more pressure : )

This morning I received my Ca Lottery Jackpot alert in my email. I was excited because the MEGA Millions jackpot is at 105,000,000 and the amount is estimated for 09/07/2012, which is tonight.

So, I know many of you are wondering what numbers to play. Here's a tip. Play all the numbers. So, play all the numbers...not combinations. There is a big difference. Below I will do just that and see if I get lucky enough to win some of the smaller prizes.

This post is going to be quick and short. It is a little after 6pm pacific time and the Ca Fantasy 5 is about to close and 6:30pm pacific time.

I just wanted to post my ticket bought earlier and also a quick pick I recently won.

NOTE: I chose 9 numbers in each line this time to give me a little more of a range. But I am staying within my budget so I will have to choose five combinations from them.

Going With Mega Millions For Tonight

Tonight is the Mega Millions drawing and as of this post the jackpot is $93 Million...$71.4 Million after taxes.(Grrrrr!)

Nonetheless, I will play but only playing $5 and not my usual $10 or $15. I fired up my software and got these pick lines. You are welcome to use them if you want. I really don't want to win the jackpot, but would love to hit five numbers in a row or four numbers and the mega ball.

What type of prayer do I need to do to win lottery jackpot?

 That is a legit question for a lot of people that combine faith and gambling. I've heard people say that they are going to pray so they can win the lottery. Does it work? Probably not but again for those folks who happen to get a break, they would tell you that it does.

Staying Positive And Playing Responsibly

I believe that you should keep a positive outlook when playing the lottery. Keep it fun and don't forget your budget. Don't get caught up in the "lottery fever" spell most people get into and spend more than you should. The lottery is a game of chance and not a divine tool for the easy life. 

On the other hand, if you really believe that praying will help you to win, then keep a log of your prayers and if you do hit it big, you will know which prayer you said and wash and repeat.

Those Lottery Numbers Have No Friends

I played both the Ca Fantasy 5 and Ca Super Lotto and came out with nothing. I noticed that the numbers the generator cranked out were out of range. In other words, they were off by 1 or 2 digits. That's okay though. Remember, the lottery is completely random.

Looking At The Lottery Numbers

Tonights picks was not drawn as you know but that's okay it is a gamble. I did not pick all 5 numbers for the Fantasy 5, DUH! and I actually got the Mega Number and one number for the Mega Millions. Playing within my budget of course.

So out of my $20 I lost $17. Will try again though because the lottery is something you have to play to win, right?! So, how did you do? Leave a comment to let me know if you had any other picks that you used and how did it turn out for you.

Just Random Is All, Never Forget

Before I play tonights Mega Millions and Fantasy 5, I thought I might just share my picks or at least the number lines I'm gonna choose. As a reminder, all my numbers are randomly generated but this software makes it so easy.

As you will see, you can make any combinations you want but keep in mind your budget. I only budget $10 for Fantasy 5. Sometimes a little more if Jackpot is a good cushion. What I mean is after ($%&*@<---Expletive) Taxes.

I also budget $10 or sometimes $5 for the Mega Millions. Damn! it's a hard game but this software and being consistent should give me some type of return.

So Did This Software Help Me Win Anything Tonight? The Answer Is Below

I am writing this post in somewhat of a bitter sweet mood. No, not because I didn't hit the Jackpot but because I need a beer and too lazy to go get one. LOL Just kidding.

It is a bitter sweet moment because this software has all the winning numbers on one ticket this time but I only won a few replays. The replays are technically $1 but you never see it because it goes right to the replay ticket.

Here Are The Results

Tonight's winning Ca Fantasy 5 number for August 30, 2012 are: 2, 30, 33, 34, 38. By the way, no one got the Jackpot so the new amount is $115,000 for tomorrow Friday August 31, 2012.

As you can see in the photo, I was yet again in the ball park.

On Wednesday August 29, 2012 I was off from work. I usually play the Ca Super Lotto with my office pool but we decided to play every Saturday (draws are Wednesdays and Saturdays) so we can have more money in the pool. This is a tip I read in the ebook that came with the software.

Around 4 pm after picking up my kids from school, I fired up my lottery software and set it for the Ca Fantasy 5 options. I was only playing $10 this time because someone won the jackpot. I chose 8 numbers and 5 sets.

I had 40 combinations and chose 10 combos out of them. Here are the results.

The Outcome Of My Fantasy 5 Picks

The winning numbers for the Ca Fantasy 5 on August 29, 2012 were:

I matched 2 numbers a bunch of times for replays but also noticed that all the numbers for the jackpot are on those tickets. Holy, crap. Who knows, maybe if I played a couple more dollars I could have hit it. But, I stay within my budget. 

 

On Thursday I might play Fantasy 5 again or at least cash in my replays.

What The Hell Happened With Wednesdays Lottery Results

Why You Should Make Time For The Lottery, Maybe...

I mentioned on Tuesday how this software helped me snag some cash. The lottery game I played was the Ca Fantasy 5. So, in my previous (and first blog post) I wasn't sure if I was going to play. Well, I didn't. Not because of budget reasons but I didn't have enough time.

Did The Software Help - Did I Miss Out On The Jackpot?

Okay, so I didn't play the Fantasy 5 on Tuesday due to time restraints. I had time though, to fire up the software and pick some numbers. These were the line of numbers that came back.

1,3,4,6,14,16,19,22,32,38.....The winning numbers for the Ca Fantasy 5 on Tuesday August 28, 2012 were: 1,4,14,20,26

So, three numbers were in the picks. If I would have played, I was going to play $20. I plugged the numbers in to get my combinations and  I would have won $15 plus 3 replays. Nothing to quit my job over : )

What I Played Was All Wrong

So, I had $20 ($15 from my previous fantasy 5 win plus $5) and decided to play one of the worst games, odds wise that is. Yes, the Mega Millions. I didn't use the software but chose some lines before hand and decided to play my own random picks. Of course it didn't work out so great. I wasn't even close.

This Is What Happened If I Went With The Software Picks

I chose two lines of 8 numbers to play. The software spits out 8 lines of numbers to play and I chose 5 sets.  So, I would have to play $40 in tickets. With the combinations that came out, I would have only two numbers twice and 4 mega number matches. So, I would have won $8. (Mega number only is $2).

Matching 2 numbers without the Mega Ball wins Zero. I don't know what to think about that. There are other options that I have to explore but I still think the potential is there.

Ca Fantasy 5 - Six Dollars And A Replay, Here's What Happened

The California Lottery Games I Play

For my first post let me just give these quick details. I am in California and the games I usually play are the Ca Fantasy 5, the Ca Super Lotto and the Mega Millions.

I say usually because it depends on how much money I have and how much the jackpot is. As a rule of thumb, I try to stick with the Ca Fantasy 5 because it has better odds when comparing it to the other two games I play.

With that being said, last night, 8-28-2012, I played the Ca Fantasy 5. The jackpot was $56,000. I had $6.00 to play and a replay from a previous game. Keep in mind that I don't like those replay tickets because I've never gotten anything from them. But, all things being equal, they have the same chance of winning as any other ticket.

The Results Are In

 So, I played my $6 and waited for the results. By the way, the software I used produced a few lines of numbers to pick from. I usually play all lines but my budget did not allow. The line of numbers I used were: 2, 17, 29, 35, 39, 3, 16, 20

The results for that nights drawing came out to: 5, 29, 35, 37, 39.

How Did The Replay Ticket Do?

As you can see I captured three numbers and won $15. As for the replay, the numbers were 03-16-20-34-37, just got one number. Again, I am not a fan of replay lottery tickets but I look at them as free $1.

The photos of the tickets are included in this post. As you can see, the other five picks included some of the winning numbers for yet again, free replays.

All Numbers Not Used

The software brought back twenty numbers but due to my budget, only played $6 worth. I saw that nobody won the jackpot and will give it a shot tonight. I will post my results for you to see.

I am not sure if I will play the $15 I won or just play $6 again and keep the $9 as profit. We will see.
